RR02

The first couple chapters of Design: A very short introduction are very interesting.  They get into some explanations of design someone would not normally think of.  The first thing I actually saw in the book was a typo.  The first sentence of the first chapter!  That doesn't take away from the good information in the book though.  I enjoyed reading about the different ways they had to adapt the refrigerators for the different areas of Europe.  I also found it interesting the way that the toothpaste companies had to change their advertising in order to be sucessful in different countries.  Overall this reading was really good. It was good basic design information that I think everyone should know.
